Starting out slowww
A week's break from blogging was amazing! I learned a few things from my social media break.
1. I could never handle being an influencer.
2. I cannot wait for grad school to be over (I enjoy my free nights after a long day of working and caring for kids to just do what I wanna do)
3. I don't think I like blogging very much 😬 (I know I said it out loud)
Here we are, ready to rock and roll! Or so I'm trying to get my mind back into the swing. I'm already late in my usual schedule of posting my first post on Mondays.
Today I checked out the tools for this week and I thought Trello was pretty neat! I like that it's basically a digital list maker. I find myself creating so many lists and then losing track of my list or having to re-write my list as they change from day to day or even week to week. I also liked the idea that I can share my board with others. It got me thinking, that I could create a board that both my director and I can see. This would help with our weekly meetings. Each week we talk about the tasks that need to be completed and where we are with tasks that are already assigned. Trello would actually be useful in helping our workflow.
Signing off for the night. It was a very active weekend and I'm still recovering from basically being a single parent for the past three days while my husband worked the holiday weekend.
Free nights and weekends? What are those?
ReplyDeleteI took three weeks off of blogging, including the respite week, and I didn't miss it at all! I also can't wait to be done. I graduate in three weeks, and I feel like I am clawing my way to the finish line.
ReplyDeleteRachel! Maybe we will see each other at graduation!! Taking 3 weeks off is brilliant, I can't wait till we reach the finish line!!! Melanie, respite week taught me a lot too, as you know since we've been chatting, exit buddy. A life as a social media content creator/influencer/news maker is NOT what I want to do full time!
